Vitality Gym

Rukks was the main contractor on this project, working alongside the interior designer to deliver a stylish and modern gym that was in keeping with its industrial and steel works location.

CHANGING ROOMS - Complete rip out of Male and Female changing rooms. Shower area completely transformed into 3 seperate cubicles. Mix of Metro tiles and concrete effect wall panels were used to modernise the overall look and feel of the areas.

MAIN GYM AREA - New flooring which required self levelling before laying heavy duty floor tiles. Slip Tiles used on pillars and selected areas, along with corrugated roof sheets, to create a more industrial feel. In addition we used an experimental product to give a concrete effect render on several of the walls. Track Lighting used around the perimeter of weights area to highlight machines along with its main feature lighting, which consists of 3 channels of lighting running down the middle in a U-Shape around the gym.

CAFE - Small uplift in the cafe area where we used wood paneling around the main desk and installed some new sockets and tv's.
